ILA 2010 Conference: Poster Sessions
The Netherlands Society of International Law (NVIR), which also serves as the Dutch branch of the International Law Association (ILA), organises the forthcoming ILA Conference at The Hague from 15 to 20 August 2010. All efforts are geared towards making ILA 2010 into a most memorable conference that will help to achieve the objective of the ILA of promoting the rule of law in international affairs and in doing so provide our contribution towards peace and justice through international law. See http://www.ila2010.org.
Poster sessions will form part of the complementary programme. These sessions give room to researchers in the early stages of their careers (doctoral or post-doctoral research) to present their work, or to highlight the on-going research programme of their faculties or research groups. Researchers may present the essence of their thesis or of this research programme on an A3-format poster, benefiting from informal discussions with other conference participants.
Researchers who are interested in presenting their research in such a manner are warmly invited to submit a research abstract (250 words max.) by 30 June 2010 via email (f.baetens@law.leidenuniv.nl). Any further questions regarding the ILA 2010 poster sessions can be directed at Dr. Freya Baetens. Deans and research coordinators are invited to draw the attention of researchers to this unique opportunity to present their ideas.
